"As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word." - I Peter 2:2

"Jesus said to her, 'Mary.'" - John 20:16

"O fools, and slow of heart to believe." - Luke 24:25

The day after Jesus rose from the dead is "the first day of the rest of our life" for all mankind.

"You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified? He is risen. He is not here. Behold the place where he lay." - Mark 16:6

"So they went, and made the sepulchre sure, sealing the stone, and setting a watch." - Matthew 27:66

"If thou be the Son of God, come down from the cross." - Matthew 27:40

"See in his hands the print of the nails." - John 20:25

"In that she hath poured this ointment on my body, she did it for my burial." - Matthew 26:12

"At midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh, go ye out to meet him." - Matthew 25:6

Father, these next seven days, help me to identify hour by hour with the sacrificial obedience and selfless love of your Son, our Lord.

"Lord, behold, he whom thou lovest is sick." - John 11:3

How are we to measure the prosperity of our soul?

What's dividing the faithful?  Who's rallying us to unite? Who hates us most?

"If thou shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?" - Psalm 130:3

"Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of Hosts." - Zechariah 4:6

“On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.” - Matthew 22:40

"Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ has made us free." - Galatians 5:1
