Psalms 64:1-10. Verses 3 and 7, spiritually considered, what are the arrows or missiles—thoughts, feelings, desires—that the enemy is shooting at me today? What are the countervailing arrows with which God defends and delivers me?
I Kings 6:1-38. Verses 11-14, Solomon finishes building the magnificent temple for God’s glory, but it comes with a warning. When have I felt like an unwelcome visitor in my own life, because I had quit keeping God at the center? Present application?
Acts 20:1-16. Verses 9-12, Paul restores to life the young believer killed in an accident during worship. Having faith that “His [God’s] life is in him,” what are some blessings from the living God that I can expect today for myself and others?
Mark 10:46-52. A blind man who insists on speaking with Jesus, regains his sight. Am I clear that today and every day, Jesus is asking what I want him to do for me? Don’t I often ask him for small things when he is ready to do huge things for me?
