Psalms 10:1-18. Verse 16, God is king forever. How does my whole day become different when I stand on this? What can i count on? What can I rule out?
II Samuel 10:1-19. More of David’s military prowess, with little mention of God. Have I been tempted lately to think my successes are more about me than about Him?
Acts 13:26-41. Paul at Antioch preaches of Christ crucified, risen, and reigning. But have times passed Jesus and his message by? How much do forgiveness of sins and justification by faith alone, really mean to me?
Mark 6:45-52. Verse 50, “Be of good cheer, it is I, be not afraid.” In what specific crisis or storm do I need this assurance from Jesus today?
