Psalms 30:1-12. Verse 5, joy comes in the morning. Verse 11, girded me with gladness. When have I seen how God’s joy can replace earthly sadness? What situation do I desire to fill with joy today?
Job 10:1—11:20. Same argument repeats. Job complains God has not even the mercy to let a broken man die. Zophar insists Job search his soul and find his own hidden sins. Have I seen someone give up on such empty religion?
Galatians 1:11-24. What conversion story in our times do I know of that rivals Paul’s? Could I be doing more for the gospel, sacrificing more, risking more?
