Psalms 17:1-15. Couldn’t this be a prayer of Job, a man struggling for righteousness, doubt contending with faith, hope with fear? Waking or sleeping, can I always keep one eye on God’s likeness?
Job 2:1-13. Satan bets God that he knows Job’s breaking point. But Job, in the depth of misery, clings to his integrity before God. When was I close to my breaking point? How did God show up?
