Psalms 25:1-22. Where among this world’s institutions—even the churches themselves—can we find the kind of moral honesty and spiritual struggle shown here?
Job 7:1—8:22. Job protests that his upright life has been rewarded with sorrow; where’s the justice in that? Bildad complacently insists Job must have it wrong. There can be no flaw in God’s logic. It must be in him.
