Bible Monday 10/3: Teach Us to Pray

Psalm 106:1-48. What has God shown me I must utterly root out of my thought and my life, but I haven't yet fully complied (verses 34-35)?

Job 40:1-24. When has my self-importance been silenced by a sudden realization that God is God and I'm not (verse 4)?  Have I kept that in focus?

II Corinthians 11:1-15. Entering into this day, where must I be alert to the serpent's whispers (verse 3) or Satan cleverly disguised (verse 14)?

Luke 11:1-13. What specific reminders can I give myself to dwell more constantly with the Lord's Prayer and go deeper into its treasures?

These are some of the questions I asked myself in studying this morning's four readings from the  St. James Daily Devotional Guide. Where is your self-examination leading today?
