Bible Saturday 9/24: God's Timing

Psalm 90:1-17. How would my daily priorities and lifetime goals be different if I dwelt in God's view of time as given in verses 4 and 10 and throughout this Psalm?

Job 31:1-40. In what ways do I try to hide from God as Adam did (verse 33)? How can I call on fellow Christians to help me break that pattern starting today?

II Corinthians 5:12-21. Is there one person in particular to whom I can be an ambassador for Christ (verse 20), helping them reconcile with God, before I sleep tonight?

Luke 9:18-27. What would it look like for me to more fully take up my cross this very day (quietly, not dramatically) and more fearlessly follow Jesus?

These are some of the questions I asked myself in studying this morning's four readings from the  St. James Daily Devotional Guide. Where is your self-examination leading today?
