Bible Sunday 10/15: Ask Seek Knock

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 146:1-10. Verse 3, how can I stay free of, and work against, the perils of politicized religion and religionized politics?

I Chronicles 24:1-31. As Aaron’s family had a special role in serving God, when have I seen a family of like devotion to Christ? Lessons? Cautions?

Ephesians 2:1-10. Verse 10 KJV, what specific good works, I wonder, has God foreordained that I should do today?

Luke 11:1-13. How can I go deeper into the Lord’s Prayer day by day? Exactly what “bread” or “fish” do I need from the Father right now?
