Bible Thursday 10/12: Exam Time

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 132:1-18. Verse 15 KJV, do I care as much about the poor as God does? What am I doing to show it?

I Chronicles 21:1-30. Verses 17 and 24, when has God helped me to own my mistakes and pay fairly for them? What did I learn? Application to my life right now?

II Corinthians 13:1-14. Verse 5, examining myself today, where is the weak point in my faith walk at this time of life? What’s an achievable plan of action to address it before year end?

Luke 10:21-24. As a follower of Jesus, what spiritual realities do I see that nonbelievers don't? Do I therefore have a “something different about him” factor that nonbelievers notice?
