Bible Tuesday 11/14: Quench Not

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalm 78:1-72. Verse 36 KJV, when have I flattered God or even lied to him? What was the consequence? How can I avoid ever doing that again?

II Chronicles 25:1-28. Verses 14-15, another king seduced by idols. How are Christians today sometimes shaped by the culture, instead of shaping it for God? Action point for me?

I Thessalonians 5:12-28. Verse 19 KJV, "Quench not the Spirit." Which means, for me today, specifically doing what? Specifically not doing what?

Luke 17:1-4. Doesn't sevenfold forgiveness just reward bad behavior? What does Jesus mean here? Have I ever been the forgiver, or the one forgiven, in such a situation
