Bible Tuesday 11/28: Washed

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalm 121:1-8. Verse 1, is there a problem on which I have been spiritually looking down at what's wrong instead of upward at what God is doing? Action point for today?

Esther 3:1-15. Death warrant for the Jews. Why has anti-Semitism persisted across the centuries and even now? What are some Christians anti-Israel? What can I and my church do about it?

Revelation 7:9-17. Verse 14, does the blood of the Lamb have great meaning to me? If yes, how am I therefore different? If not, what might I be missing out on?

Luke 19:41-48. Verse 46, is my home truly a house of prayer? Is my church? What can I do to make each of them more so?
