Bible Saturday 12/9: Sellout

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalm 116:1-19. Verse 15, outside my own family, whose death has touched me the most? What shapes my attitude toward death: faith, fear, indifference, antagonism, denial? Prayer point?

Daniel 2:1-49. Verses 19-23, what specific persons or situations in the news or in my own life today can I "plug into" this praiseful prayer of Daniel's?

Revelation 13:1-10. Verses 1 and 6 KJV, why is blasphemy little thought of by Christians today? How does it ensnare me? Why do Muslims take it more seriously than we do?

Luke 22:1-6. Other than money, what inducements might Satan have used to lure Judas into betraying Jesus? Do those same motives ever subtly operate on me? Prayer point for today?
