Bible Tuesday 12/5: Battle Stations

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalm 5:1-12. Verse 3, how can I make better use of each morning to establish my day with God through Scripture and prayer?

Nahum 2:1-13. Verse 1, call to battle stations. When have I faced a material emergency? A spiritual emergency? What can I do today or soon to be better prepared for the next one?

Revelation 10:1-11. Verse 10, what is sweet to me in God's book, the Bible? What is bitter? How can I feed more fully on both in the coming year of 2018?

Luke 21:1-6. Who do I know that gives sacrificially for Kingdom work? What practical, achievable challenge can I take from their example?
