Bible Monday 12/18: King of Kings

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalm 41:1-13. Verse 3, who do I know that is fighting illness right now and needs me to pray this promise of God over him or her?

Daniel 11:1-45. Since in the future, today's leaders will be as forgotten as these are, how can I better focus on knowing the God of gods and keeping his covenant (verses 28, 30, 32, 36)?

Revelation 17:1-18. Verse 14, how can the Lamb and the King be one and the same? As I fight my daily battles, large or small, how can I be sure I'm fighting on his side?

Luke 1:57-80. When has God dealt severely with me for my own good and that of others, as he did with Zacharias? Was I then better able to praise him (verses 68-79)?
