Bible Thursday 12/28: Fountain

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalm 19:1-14. Verse 14, honestly appraising myself, what habit of speaking displeases God? What pattern of my thoughts or emotions? How shall I amend these in 2018?

Obadiah 1:1-21. Verses 4 and 15, when has my pride led to a fall? When have my sins rebounded to my own hurt? What did I learn? Where was God?

Revelation 21:1-8. Verse 6, in my life right now, what's the greatest thirst I bring to the Lord? How shall I go about accessing the water promised here?

Matthew 2:16-23. Is guidance from an angel in a dream "for Christ's sake" available to me as it was to Joseph? What's required of me to receive and recognize that?
