Bible Sunday 2/5: Taste and See

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalm 34:1-22. What are three things I delight to eat, and three to drink, whose differing excellence might help me more truly "taste and see that the Lord is good" (verse 8, KJV)?

Genesis 36:1-43. Considering the more than one hundred names recorded here from three millennia ago (and a sideline of the patriarchs, not the main line), can I realize how individually precious to God is every person I see today? ("You never saw a mere mortal." - CS Lewis)

Romans 2:1-11. Toward whom in recent days have I been critical, condemning, or judgmental in ways that call for repentance according to this passage?

Matthew 10:1-15. Is Jesus in verses 7-8 giving charge only to the Twelve, or to all his followers including me? If so, what steps (even baby steps) of obedience shall I take today?
