Bible Thursday 4/27: At the Well

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalm 18:1-50. From what deep water do I need God to rescue me or a loved one right now (verses 4, 16)? Shall I trust him for that today as never before ?

Exodus 4:1-31. When has God sent me help through a family member or friend, as with Moses and Aaron?  What did I learn?  Is the lesson still with me?

I Peter 3:12-22. What can I do today to be more ready with a winsome answer for anyone who asks about my faith (verse  15)?

John 4:1-15. Related: What was it about Jesus that made the woman willing to engage with him despite social and religious customs. How can I develop that in myself?
