Bible Wednesday 4/12: Adoration

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalm 55:1-23. What burden would I most like to cast upon God today (verse 22)? What's stopping me?

Zechariah 11:1-17. Verses 12-13 foretell Judas' blood-price for betraying Jesus. But applying them today, how do Christians put money ahead of faith?  How do I?  Action point?

Luke 20:9-19. I go to my church and sing about Christ our Cornerstone (verse 17). But where do we as individuals or as a body fall short of truly living that way?

Matthew 26 1-16. Why did Jesus link the woman's adoration inseparably to the gospel for all time (verse 13)? What does she have to teach me today?
