Bible Monday 5/29: His Voice

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalm 89:1-52. My time is short, says the Psalmist to God (verse 47). If I knew 2017 was the last year of my life, what would I make sure to do? Why not get busy doing that regardless?

Exodus 36:1-38. Stop donating, says Moses to the people (verse 6). What had turned around the idolatrous rebels of chapter 32?  Have I ever had such a turnaround with God?

I Corinthians 12:1-13. Which of these gifts has the Spirit given me, even a little? On a scale of 1 up to 10, how fully am I using it? What shall I do to move higher on that scale today?

John 10:1-9. Verses 3-5: How do I know the Good Shepherd's voice? How does the stranger's voice differ? If I really listen, is Jesus even now calling me by name? With what message?
