Bible Sunday 7/23: Risk

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalm 103:1-22. Verse 5 KJV, if I could have my youth renewed, how would I particularly ask God to go about that?

Numbers 21:1-35. How can the God of wrath whom Moses served be the same God of love whom Jesus served? Prayer point for my day?

Acts 15:22-31. Verse 26, Judas and Silas are noted for having risked their lives for Jesus. What have I risked for my Lord?

Mark 8:11-21. Verse 15, for me in today’s spiritual climate, what are the leaven of the Pharisees and the leaven of Herod, against which I am to beware?
