Bible Monday 11/19: Nevertheless

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 89:1-52. Verse 33 KJV, when have I heard God saying to me “nevertheless,” an experience of his undeserved kindness and mercy?

Isaiah 24:1-23. Verse 20, intoxication of the worldly mind. As fallen human beings, what are we drunk on? How does this get at me? What is God’s antidote?

Revelation 1:1-8. Verse 6, in quiet practical ways today, how can I exercise the kingship Jesus has given me? And the priesthood he has given me?

Luke 16:1-18. Verse 13, in what way am I trying to serve two masters? Action point?
