Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?
Psalms 118:1-29. Verse 24, today being the day God made, I am invited to do what? I am warned against doing what?
Isaiah 30:1-33. Verse 21 KJV, upon what uncertainty or indecision do I need to hear God’s guidance today? What does listening “behind me” involve?
Revelation 2:18-29. Does my church submit to the searching judgment of God and teach holiness, or does it tend to gloss over the hard things?
Luke 18:15-23. Verse 17, to become childlike and fit for the kingdom, what should I be doing more of? What should I be doing less of?
