Bible Monday 12/31: Days of our Lives

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 90:1-17. Moses talks with God about days and years, eighty, a thousand. Verse 12 KJV, what help do I need from God in wisely numbering the past days of 2018 and the coming days of 2019?

Isaiah 66:1-24. Verses 6-13, imagery of maternity and birth. What do I or my family or my church desire to see “born” by God’s grace in this new year?

Revelation 22:12-21. Verses 18 and 19, how can I more fully give the Bible its high and sacred place in my life that Jesus commands here?

Matthew 25:31-46. Evaluating my current pattern of life by this standard, what are the honest pluses and minuses? Action point? Where is the grace of God in this parable?
