Bible Thursday 12/20: Priorities

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 50:1-23. Verses 10-12, God keeps saying MINE. Today if I can recognize all created things are HIS, no exceptions, how would my thought and actions change?

Isaiah 55:1-13. Verse 2, related question, applying this test to all I think and do from now to Christmas, how will it better align my attitudes and priorities for this holy-day?

Revelation 19:1-10. Verse 9, related again, what can I bring to all the activities and festivities of this season to make them a little more like this ultimate celebration of Christ, God with us?

Luke 1:26-38. Verse 37, how can I live into the fullness of this promise today, praying big prayers but always with a surrendered heart?
