Bible Thursday 12/13: Daily Bread

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 37:1-40. Verse 3, two commands and two promises. What would each of these, specifically fulfilled, look like in my experience today?

Isaiah 48:1-22. Verse 10 KJV, exactly how has God refined me? What’s ahead? Am I doing my part?

Revelation 14:14-20. Grapes of wrath, famous in song and story, but now seldom preached on. What does this harvest and vintage mean in my own Christian life, one child of God?

Luke 22:54-62. Verse 61, has it ever seemed my gaze was meeting that of Jesus, filled with sadness and reproach at how I was failing him?
