Bible Thursday 3/22: Set Free

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 142:1-7. Verse 7 KJV, what is the most imprisoning circumstance, material or spiritual, in my life right now? How would I be different if freed from that? Prayer point?

Jeremiah 50:1-46. Verses 4-6, when God looks at the whole church today, does he see us as sheep in the fold or astray, exiles in Babylon or pilgrims to Zion? My role in this?

I Corinthians 2:12-16. Verse 16 KJV, if I in fact have the mind of Christ, how would others know that from my words and actions today?

Matthew 20:20-28. Verse 28, similar question, what opportunities will I have this day or one day soon to sharply invert things so I'm serving others, not having them serve me?
