Bible Sunday 4/1: Resurrection

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 118:1-29. Verses 17 and 24, by what disciplines and practices can I keep today's resurrection joy fresh in my heart tomorrow and each day all year?

Ezekiel 1:1-28. Verses 3 and 28, the prophet hears God's word, feels God's hand, sees God's glory. What's the closest to this I've ever experienced? How does it relate to the risen Jesus?

John 20:1-10. Peter, the coward of Friday, on Sunday bravely runs to Jesus' tomb, heedless the Romans may still be there. When have I felt God turn my fear to courage?

John 20:11-23. Verses 22 and 23, in receiving the Holy Spirit from my risen Savior and Lord, what benefits am I given? What duties and responsibilities are laid on me?
