Bible Saturday 4/21: The Nobleman

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 32:1-11. Verse 6 KJV, why would God be easier to find at one time than another? When do my prayers accomplish more, when I'm up or when I'm down? How can I pray "upwind" today?

Ezekiel 21:1-32. Verses 25-27, do I have a troubled mind or a steady mind about leaders and politics around the world? Where do I most desire God's overturning? Prayer point?

I Corinthians 12:1-11. What are my greatest areas of spiritual gifting? How can I use them more this year than ever before, to glorify God and bless others?

John 4:46-54. Like this desperate father, when I have I been forced to relate with Jesus not on my terms but on his? What did I learn? Application for today?
