Bible Tuesday 6/12: Damascus Road

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 62:1-12. Verse 8 KJV, what keeps me from pouring out my heart to God? That he's too busy, or I'm too busy? Fear of disappointment? Pride? Shame? So how shall I reset?

I Samuel 24:1-22. Verses 11 and 16, if these bitter enemies can call each other father and son at God's prompting, can any relationship in my life be broken or scarred beyond saving?

Acts 9:1-9. Verse 5 KJV, what may been pricking Saul before this? When has Jesus pricked to get my attention? Verse 6 KJV, shall I pray this every day, "Lord, what will you have me do?"

Matthew 22:1-14. Verse 5, just in the last few days, what excuses have I made to God? Verse 10, is my church as welcoming as this to all comers, bad and good?
