Bible Monday 9/3: Best Exercise

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 9:1-20. Verse 3 KJV, God's very presence defeats my enemies. But how can I know he's here? With what senses, by what signs, can I perceive his presence?

Job 10:1-22. Verse 1 KJV, have I ever been tired of life, or known someone who was? Have I seen clinical depression or mental breakdown? What's the answer from a merciful God?

I Timothy 4:1-16. Verses 7 and 8, which kind of exercise, diet, and self-care do I honestly put first, that of the body or that of godliness in my soul? Action point?

Mark 13:14-23. Am I prepared for the end times? Do I focus enough on them, but not overly so?
