Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?
Psalms 84:1-12.. Verse 2 KJV, what worldly things does my soul long for, my heart seek for? Why is the nearness of God a better answer to those desires?
Job 23:1-17. Verses 3-7, when have I wanted to argue with God, plead my case, demand answers from him?
II Corinthians 6:11-18. Verse 14 KJV, have I had experience with being unequally yoked? Verse 17, am I about as separate as I should be from worldly people, or too much, or not enough?
Mark 15:16-20. Why does the ungodly state of mind mock and ridicule godliness? Encountering this today, how shall I respond?
