Bible Friday 11/1: Servants Sealed

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 112:1-10. Verse 5 KJV, who needs me to lend them something today? What have I to lend? Why does this please God?

II Chronicles 8:1-18. Verse 11, Solomon’s heathen wife, kept separate. What’s the symbolic warning here for the church in present times? My role?

Revelation 7:1-8. Servants of God sealed by an angel. What has this ceremony of 12x12,000, or the designation of today as All Saints Day, to do with me as neither an Israelite nor a Catholic?

Matthew 5:1-12. Which of Jesus’ beatitudes comes easiest for me? Which comes hardest? Which shall I especially put into practice today?
