Bible Monday 12/9: In Memoriam

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 102:1-28. Verses 9-13, coming to the end of this year, what was the hardest thing I went through? How did God show up? How did it change me?

Daniel 1:1-21. Verses 12-17, Daniel wins his bet. What choice of “spiritual diet” between worldliness and godliness do I face today?

Revelation 14:1-13. Verse 13, who that has died this year should I be remembering with special love and gratitude to God at this season?

Luke 22:14-23. What does the Eucharist of Christ’s body and blood have to do with Christmas and the manger story? What happens if I disconnect them?
