Bible Sunday 2/24: Harvest

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 118:1-29. Verses 19 and 20 KJV, what must I do to enter this day through God’s gate? What gate must I pass up?

Proverbs 2:1-22. Verse 11 KJV, for me to live with discretion means doing what and not doing what? How does this express love for God and my neighbor?

Romans 9:1-13. Verse 3, when have I desired to change places with someone so as to spare them sorrow or suffering? Application for today?

Matthew 13:36-43. Verse 39, how real to me are God’s enemy, the devil, and God’s agents, the angels? What part have they in my day today? Prayer point?
