Bible Friday 4/26: Dwelt Among Us

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 136:1-26. What are five big things God has done my life that illustrate this Psalm’s refrain, “His mercy endures forever”?

Song of Solomon 6:1-13. Verse 3, can it be said that equally as I belong to Jesus, he belongs to me? If yes, what are the implications for the way I deal with everything that comes up today?

I Peter 1:1-12. Verses 6 and 7 KJV, what trials and temptations is my faith undergoing at present? What evidence have I that the fire is refining me?

John 1:1-18. In what unspoken ways should others be able to recognize me as someone in close relationship with the Light of life and the Word made flesh?
