Bible Sunday 4/28: The Doubter

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 147:1-20. Verse 14, peace in the land. What would it look like for God to begin to answer our prayers to calm and heal an angrily divided America?

Song of Solomon 8:1-14. Verse 3, what would it look like for God to intervene in my life today with both hands?

I Peter 2:13-25. Verses 15 and 16, what are some practical ways in which I be holy today. Why does “holier than thou” have such a bad connotation?

John 20:24-29. How does doubt play into my Christian walk? Short of appearing to me physically, how can Jesus help me overcome my doubts
