Bible Tuesday 6/4: Battle of the Sexes

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 100:1-5. Verse 2, what shall I sing all day today to keep me in the presence of God?

Exodus 37:1-29. Gold, gold, and more gold. Why so much of it? What lesson, if any, is here for my church? What lesson for me, applicable today?

I Corinthians 11:2-16. How does my church work for the harmony of the sexes in God’s kingdom to supersede the battle of the sexes in a fallen world? What does my church teach about sex roles?

John 10:22-30. Verse 27, Jesus knows his sheep. What are some things he knows about me that I’m glad of? What does he know about me that’s painful? Prayer point?
