Bible Sunday 7/7: Mustard Seed

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 112:1-10. Verse 1, without my talking about it, how can others see that I fear God? Is my way of fearing him attractive at all to the non-believer?

Leviticus 27:1-34. Verse 30, how can my church do more to encourage tithing to the Lord, and a godly view of all money and possessions? My role?

Acts 7:17-36. Verse 30, what is the closest thing I’ve ever experienced to a “burning bush” encounter with God’s angel? Present application?

Mark 4:30-34. What little seed of God’s goodness and truth can I plant with someone today—and who might that be—to grow mightily in blessings over time?
