Bible Saturday 7/27: Kid Stuff

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 55:1-23. Verses 6 and 16, what is there in my life that I wish I could just fly away from right now? What is God’s specific answer to that?

Numbers 20:1-29. Moses loses Miriam and Aaron, his brother and sister. When has someone’s death left me feeling very alone? How did God show up? Present application?

Acts 14:1-18. Verses 5 and 11, efforts to stone Paul, then to deify him. How does the Christian protect against runaway emotions or moods? What does this require of me” Of my church?

Mark 10:13-22. Verse 15, what’s one strong quality I have that’s childlike? What quality in me is not childlike? What can I specifically do today to increase the one and decrease the other?
