Bible Monday 8/19: Every Detail

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 106:1-48. Verse 5, looking beyond my own situation, who is experiencing God’s goodness right now, as an occasion for me to give thanks?

Joshua 7:1-26. When have I seen a Christian individual or organization externally weakened by internal corruption? How did God clear up the matter? Present application?

Acts 20:1-12. Eutychus, dead or near death, healed by Paul. What notable healing by God’s power alone have I experienced or seen? Present application?

Mark 14:12-21. Verses 13-15, what important arrangements now concerning me might already have been made by Jesus if I only trust him enough and obey?
