Bible Sunday 9/29: About to Sink?

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 46:1-11. Verse 10, where is there within me today a clamor that keeps God out, which I can replace with the stillness that lets him in?

I Chronicles 4:1-43. Genealogy of Judah. In my birth family, who has been more of a blessing and less of a blessing to me? In my adoptive family of Christ, who is especially dear to me? Prayer point?

II Corinthians 6:11-18. Honestly applying Paul’s warning to my worldview and way of life, where do I need to make changes to rightly honor God?

Luke 8:19-25. Verse 24, relates to Psalms 46:10. What difficulty is driving me to get in closer touch with Jesus today? Prayer point?
