Bible Wednesday 9/11: When It's Darkest

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 119:49-72. Verse 55, night watches. What’s the darkest time I ever went through? How did God show up? Present application?

Judges 6:1-40. Verses 14-16, calling of Gideon. When did it seem God was asking the impossible of me? What did I learn? Present application?

Acts 28:17-31. Verses 23 and 31 KJV, Paul the persuader, confident in Christ. What’s my opportunity to be like him today?

Luke 5:17-26. Who is waiting right now for a friend like me to bring them to Jesus for forgiveness and healing?
