Bible Sunday 6/14: If Redeemed, Say So

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 107:1-43. Verse 2 KJV, when and how did God redeem me? Who needs to hear about that from me today?

1 Samuel 13:1-23. Verses 11-13, Saul’s rashness. When have I taken matters into my own hands and failed to wait on God? What did I learn? Present application?

Acts 5:12-21. The early church is seen relieving hardship, preaching the Word, enduring persecution, and growing its ranks. How does my church compare? My role?

Mark 1:21-28. Verses 22 and 27, related question, what’s required for me to partake, in even a small way, of Jesus’ authority in teaching and healing? First step today?
