Bible Monday 2/1: Consuming Fire

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 78:41-72. Verse 41 KJV, in thinking about everything I hope God will soon do for me and others, do I in any way tend to limit the Holy One?

Genesis 32:1-32. Verses 24-30, when have I wrestled with God? What did I learn? Present application?Correction: The Genesis question yesterday, cited to Ch. 31, actually referred to Ch. 34. We regret the error.

Hebrews 12:12-29. Verse 28, what does the unshakable kingdom promised by Jesus have to do with the troubled world of seismic shocks we’re enduring in 2020 and 2021? My role?

Matthew 10:1-15. Verses 11-13 KJV, what does Jesus mean that we’re to be in fellowship only with those who are worthy? How am I to prove myself worthy?
