Bible Friday 11/5: When I Awake

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 17:1-15. Verse 8 KJV, if I am the apple of God’s eye, what does this day hold for me? But how can I believe this, knowing all the ways I am imperfect and unworthy?

II Chronicles 14:1-15. Verse 11, King Asa trusts God for victory, whether with a strong army or a weak one. Application for me today?

Colossians 2:18-23. Verse 20, if I am dead with Christ from worldliness, how might others recognize that today without my saying so?

Luke 19:41-48. Verse 41, when Jesus looks at my city right now, what does he see that makes him weep? What is my church doing about it? My role?
