Bible Monday 11/8: Birthmark

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 22:1-31. Verses 9 and 10, how does my outlook change with the realization that I was born to be loved by God, regardless of the human advantages or disadvantages of my birth?

II Chronicles 17:1-19. Jehoshaphat’s godly and peaceful reign. What is my prayer today for all those in public office, like them or not?

Colossians 4:2-11. Verses 5 and 6, how does God want me to conduct myself with unbelievers today? What does he mean in commanding me to redeem the time?

Luke 20:20-26. How does my church go about rendering to Caesar and to God as Jesus taught? My role?
