Bible Wednesday 5/26: The Good Shepherd

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 68:1-35. Verses 5 and 6, what family do I know is grieving, broken, or lonely today, for whom I can pray God’s comfort and care?

Leviticus 2:1-16. What’s the spiritual significance of God commanding that these offerings shall be made without leaven but with salt? Application for me today?

I Corinthians 14:20-33. Verse 26 KJV, in church, do that which edifies one another and the whole body. Honestly, when I come to church, is it more to get or to give?

John 10;1-11. Verse 10, what is the thief, Satan, seeking to do to me, my family, my church, and my country right now? How can I bring myself and others under Jesus’ protection today?
