Bible Friday 5/14: Signature of a Disciple

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 94:1-23. Verses 7-11, what have I thought, said, or done recently, displeasing to God, with the self-deception that he won’t know or care?

Exodus 33:123. Verses 12-16, Moses seeks reassurance from God. Who is someone I know that is doing ministry and could use a word of encouragement and appreciation from me today?

I Corinthians 10:23-11:1. Verses 23 and 24, what’s the most unselfish thing I’ve done lately? The most selfish thing? How can I be more unselfish today than I was yesterday?

John 13:31-38. Verse 35, what’s keeping my church from emphatically living this out? What can we specifically do as a church, what can I do with a few believers close to me, to fully obey Jesus here?
