Bible Tuesday 7/27: Power Source

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 66:1-20. Verse 16, who needs to hear what God has done for my soul? How and when can I find a chance to declare it to them?

Hosea 1:1-11. The godly Hosea marries, by command, the ungodly Gomer. Whom do I know that has obediently done hard things for the glory of God? Is there something hard God wants me to do?

Acts 22:22-29. Paul’s Roman citizenship instantly changes him from presumed guilty to presumed innocent. Is it appropriate for Christians to take an anti-government stance? If not, then what stance?

Mark 12:18-27. Verse 24, why does Jesus say that knowing the Scriptures will connect me to the power of God? Action point for me today?
